— Gaius Forlu

The Greek Word for Worry
μεριμνάω
MERIMNAO
Literal Meaning
To be pulled in _________________ directions. To be _________________, to have a divided, split mind.
What Worry Does
Worry does not just trouble your mind. It _________________ your mind. It splits your focus and divides your soul.
Why This Matters
A _________________ mind cannot receive from God. A _________________ mind cannot hear. A _________________ mind cannot act on faith.

"Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?"

— Matthew 6:25 (NKJV)

Personal Study Question

In your own words, explain why a "divided mind" is dangerous to your faith life:

Say This Out Loud — Not In Your Head

These three prayers are to be prayed aloud. Read each one, pause after you pray it, and sign below to mark your agreement.

Prayer 1 of 3
Breaking The Spirit of Worry
Father, right now, in the name of Jesus Christ, I come against the spirit of worry that has wrapped itself around my mind and heart. I command it to loose its hold. I command it to release the thoughts, the sleep, the peace, the joy that it has stolen.

I acknowledge that worry is not just a feeling — it is a spirit. And I refuse to give it any more access to my life. I cancel every agreement I have made with fear. I cancel every contract I have signed in the dark.

And I declare today — I am moving FORWARD. Not backward. I move toward my breakthrough. By the blood of Jesus — the spirit of worry is broken. Right now. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Prayer 2 of 3
Calling Out of the Cave
Lord Jesus, the same way You called Elijah out of the cave — I call myself out. Not another day in hiding. Not another day withdrawn from church, from prayer, from community, from my calling.

The assignment on the other side is still waiting. The God who fed Elijah in the wilderness is feeding me right now. I come out. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Prayer 3 of 3
Releasing the Angel of Breakthrough
Holy Spirit, I release the angel of breakthrough over my life right now. The same way You moved for Gaius Forlu in Indiana — move for me. Whatever has been blocking my answer — I command it to move, in Jesus' name.

The answer is released. The breakthrough is on the way. I receive it now — in Jesus' mighty name. Amen and AMEN.
I prayed this prayer:

God Has Your Back.
